How to blog am I doing it right? That is the million dollar question. Is it not? Honestly, I’m not really in the mood to answer this question right now. Anyway, being your friend and taking your on this blogging journey, I have a responsibility to teach you want I have learned about blogging along the way
What to do first. My mind boggles with the thought of blogging!!!!
Have a vision My mind is in a spiral. What to blog about? Too many things. Well lets try to narrow it down then. What do you hope to show with others from your blog? Do you want to share you thoughts about why the earth is round. Would people really want to read about what you have to offer. That is the million dollar question. Unfortunately I can't answer that one. If your blolg is about your business what customers do you target and where? Remember, your blog is working 24 hours a day 7 days a week
Use Keywords It is really important to use keywords in your blog. As this will draw the traffic. Check Google Adwords Keyword Tool and determine at least 5 keywords that best describe your business or who you want to target (main audience) with your blog. Do you homework?
Use a good domain name. This is just as important as a good domain name. It must be relevant to what you are trying to sell. Example if you are selling shoes. It should be something like onestopshoeshop.blog.com. As you want people to get able to find your blog.
Contents. Use the right keywords throughout your contents. Write a new blog once per week no matter you are. As you must have fresh and up to date contents. Put this in as the KPI (Key Performance Index).
Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Success is no guarantee even if you managed to get the best category domain name. Work hard at building backlinks use them throughout your blog.
There are 3 SEO Tricks that must always be followed
1) Keyword domain-name. Get a .com, .org or .net if possible.
2) Use Topic focused contents
3) Use Backlinks throughout your blog
